Recycling
As part of the company’s Environmental Policy we aim to reduce the amount of construction waste sent to landfill by 85% by 2010 in line with the Welsh Assembly Government’s National Strategy.
Noel Fitzpatrick Ltd aims to reduce waste outputs at source by minimising the volume of construction and demolition waste created through our operations. The company is currently constructing a recycling and processing facility in Newport to enable us to recycle inert construction and demolition waste and process into a secondary aggregate that can be re-used on site.
The construction and development of this facility locally will lead to significant environmental benefits through waste minimisation, the use of recycled materials and a reduction in transport emissions as material will be disposed of and sourced locally.
Noel Fitzpatrick Ltd believes that the development of the facility will ensure that the company continues to deliver sustainable solutions and substantial cost savings to our clients whilst minimising the environmental impact of our activities.
